About this board

Oilfield Truck Forum started in September 2025 because the big diesel forums treat the oilfield like a subforum and the oilfield forums treat the truck like an afterthought. This place is only the trucks that work out here. F-250s and F-350s, Ram 2500s and 3500s, crew cab fleet units, flatbeds, the pickups that follow the vac trucks out to the pad. Eagle Ford mostly, a good number of Permian people, and anybody else with a diesel and a lease road.

It is run by Ramon G., who goes by mod_ramon_g on the boards. Nineteen years on rigs in the Eagle Ford, toolpusher for the last six of them, now the safety man for a workover outfit based in Floresville. He reads the contact address himself and answers slower when he is on days.

The board is member run. Nobody is paid, there are no ads, and the hosting costs less than a set of tires. That is how it stays honest.

House rules

• Post the year, the engine and the miles when you ask a truck question. A 2015 6.7 and a 2022 6.7 share a name and nothing else.
• Say what you paid. Auction and dealer reports without a number get a mod note asking for one.
• No selling in threads. There is no classifieds board and there will not be one. A link to a public listing that helps a discussion is fine.
• If you work for a dealer, an auction or a fleet leasing outfit, say so when it matters.
• Mods can move, merge or lock threads. They leave a note when they do.
• Accounts are by request while we keep the bots out. Ask through the contact page.

What this is not

Not a dealer, not an auction, not a parts counter, and not the service manual. When somebody here gives you a torque number or a fuel pressure spec, check it against the book for your year before you spend money.
